I am a bit OCD, a tiny bit obsessed with planners/ list, and most importantly I am a mom. I have a very handsome son, dog, cat, and a very loving man. He won’t show that side of him, but it is there trust me. I started about a year ago when my boyfriend and I decided to pull our heads out of our own not so nice places and become a family.
With this new formed family, I was given the chance to become a stay-at-home-mom. Which for a girl that just quit a job as a Marketing/Leasing director for three large apartment communities this was a bit slow pace for me. So, what did I do? I started a cake business (https://www.facebook.com/Flutcakery/) and it is a great way for my creative side to let loose.
However, I do want to do a bit more since my son will be starting pre-preschool in January. Which got me thinking what else am I good at and what could I do with that skill to allow a flexible schedule (I want to be that soccer mom – minus the minivan) and allow me to express myself. So, you guys know I still make cakes and still love it. I just needed/wanted more, I guess, work/hobby to occupy my time. That’s where I happened upon the thought to become a professional organizer.
Since my man decided we will be moving to Michigan from Florida in about 6 to 8 months. I decided to start my professional organizing bussiness by way of this blog “Imitation Life” which is your insider’s guide to organizing your life and imitating perfection.
Please do NOT think by any means I think life can be perfect or that my life is perfect. I have my days, my man and I have our days, and my kid and I have our days where I just want to drop him off and say good luck. He’s 2 and I guess there are rules about that kind of parenting behavior…Just kidding I would never get rid of my Ty man.
Imitation life is just that, a blog to help you discover new ways of helping your life stay more on track, so that everything else can fall in place. This way on those rare day where everything else is rolling downhill you have some ounce of sanity knowing that your stuff is still in its correct place.
